The Guinness Book of Records has awarded Hilda Baci the title for the longest individual cooking marathon with a total time of 93 hours and 11 minutes. This information was revealed by Guinness World Records' official website. The reason it wasn't said to be 100 hours was that she was supposed to rest for 5 minutes after each break. However, they discovered something that led them to reduce those hours, possibly because she exceeded the allotted 5-minute break time.
The Guinness Book of Records also acknowledged several high-profile Nigerian figures who visited Hilda to show their support during her record attempt. These figures include the Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo; the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu; and award-winning singer Tiwa Savage.
